Think Pink Lux a.s.b.l. is a registered not for profit organisation based in Luxembourg to provide support to women who are living with cancer, and their families. Think Pink Lux is run and managed entirely as a volunteer organisation.

The ongoing commitments for the support work, the Think Pink Guide, the Marian Aldred Scholarship Award and the various outreach programmes are all funded entirely from dedicated fund raising events, sponsorships and donations. Administrative expenses (e.g. the website) are managed closely so as to maximise the support provided to women with cancer and for research into metastatic breast cancer.

Through the generous funding of its supporters, sponsors and donors Think Pink Luxembourg supports a number of activities:

Individual support to women and the families in Luxembourg living with or affected by cancer, through a range of activities such as:

• Support Groups, and the Think Pink Guide to Living with Cancer in Luxembourg. The 2nd edition of the Think Pink Guide was launched in 2017 and thanks to the generous support of donors we were able to print 1,000 copies which are being distributed for free to hospitals, clinics, and individuals. 

• The Marian Aldred Scholarship Award for young post-graduate researchers working in Luxembourg on fundamental research at accredited research centres. Think Pink Luxembourg is currently supporting the Invadoblock research at the Luxembourg Institute of Health. This research looks at the ways to stop breast cancer cell invasion and metastasis.

• Health promotion and dedicated cancer awareness events for enterprises and organisations in Luxembourg, to promote awareness and importantly to help staff support colleagues living with cancer.
