Call for Volunteers
TPL has traditionally helped with the distribution of runner’s packs for all participants in the days before the marathon. We also need help to collect and store the packs for the TPL runners on the night of the Marathon, so that they can collect their belongings easily after the race.

On race night, the atmosphere will carry you forward: music, cheering crowds, and the unique energy that defines this event. Within the Think Pink Lux group, you’ll train together, motivate one another, and represent a cause that supports individuals and families affected by breast cancer.

The Team Marathon is about shared effort, shared responsibility, and shared pride. Together, your relay team will cover the full 42.195 km — each runner contributing a vital section of the journey through the illuminated streets of Luxembourg City.
For many, this format offers the perfect balance: the excitement of marathon night, with a distance that feels achievable and focused. Each leg demands preparation and commitment, but you will carry the energy of your teammates — and hand over that momentum in return.
As part of the Think Pink Lux team, you are not just running a segment; you are representing solidarity, resilience, and hope. Training together builds accountability. Race night builds connection. The baton exchange becomes more than a transition — it becomes a symbol of support.

The Team 5km is an accessible, energetic way to be part of the magic of marathon night. Whether you are new to running, returning after a break, or simply looking for a meaningful shared challenge, 5 kilometres offers a goal that is achievable — and powerful.
This event is about participation, visibility, and solidarity. As part of the Think Pink Lux team, you will line up together, run side by side, and cross the finish line as a unified group. Pace does not matter. Experience does not matter. What matters is showing up and moving forward — together.
The team consists of 3 runners who all start together and everyone runs 5 kilometers on their own to the finishing line in the Luxexpo. If you wish to register as an individual, we will try to find a team for you.
The atmosphere of Luxembourg City at night, with cheering crowds and live music along the route, will carry you through every step. For many, this will be a first race experience. For all, it will be a moment of connection and purpose.
The Team 5km proves that impact is not measured in distance. It is measured in commitment, community, and the courage to take part.

Some basic information for the day …
Collection of Bibs: exact details are still to be confirmed although TPL intends to collect, prepare and distribute the runners’ packs including the bibs.
Timing Chips: the official timekeeping uses RFID-UHF-Transponder Mylaps®, fixed to back of each runner’s bib. The RFID-UHF-Transponder Mylaps®is for one-time use only and does not need to be returned.
