Optimists Cricket Club hosted Cricket in Pink again this year in support of Think Pink Lux.
It was a wonderful sunny day and the Optimists welcomed players and supporters to a fun game of cricket (in PINK) and BBQ.

What a beautiful present for Think Pink Lux this year, to celebrate Christmas with Celine Byrne, the internationally renowned soprano fresh from her starring role in Carmen at London's Covent Garden. We think you will agree that we were privileged to listen to such an outstanding and moving performance from Celine and her accompanying musicians.
Through the support of our sponsors, your ticket purchases and donations Think Pink raised around €6,000. All monies will go to fund the research about which Dr Guy Berchem spoke at the concert. He and his team at the Luxembourg Institute of Health are focusing their research on the prevention of the metastasis (invasive spread) of breast cancer. Our goal is provide them with €20,000 of research funding per year, through this and other fund raising events, including the annual ThinkPink participation in the ING Night Marathon.

The setting was perfect - a beautiful sunny day in Walferdange. The Optimists Cricket Club kindly hosted a day of Cricket in Pink in support of Think Pink Lux.
Think Pink Lux would like to offer our sincere thanks to the Irish Club of Luxembourg for their generous donation of €3,700 raised during the Irish Club Charity Ball in June which will contribute to the Marian Aldred Award funding research and education here in Luxembourg.
Think Pink Lux was well represented at this year's ING Night Marathon. Thank you to all of you who walked, ran and supported us.
